Seven universities will benefit from State funding to facilitate coronavirus-related research after their respective proposals were approved for financing.
Identified varsities are Mount Kenya University (MKU), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Egerton University, University of Nairobi (UoN), Kenyatta University (KU), Pwani University and Multimedia University. National Research Fund (NRF) approved their proposals.
