Judiciary closes courts, tribunals in Covid infested counties

Acting Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu has closed courts, tribunals and all registries in the five counties that President Uhuru Kenyatta declared Covid-19 infested.

Justice Mwilu said operations in Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Kiambu and Nakuru will remain suspended until further notice. She, however, noted that any matters requiring a hearing during the period will be heard virtually.
