[Source: @Lands_Kenya on Twitter] The Taskforce on the Current State of Ownership of Land in Mavoko, Machakos County and Invasion by Squatters was appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning vide Kenya Gazette Vol. CXX-No. 149 dated 7th December, 2019. The Public is notified that the taskforce will be conducting public hearings with stakeholders from 18th – 27th March 2019 on all pieces of land in Athi River Sub-county affected by land disputes. The following set of documents are required at the meetings:
- Original and copy of allotment documents (letters, cards etc)
- Original and copy of mother title deed
- Copy of Company Incorporation Certificate
- Copy of KRA PIN Certificate
- Copy of National ID
