Yesterday during the launch of the 13th Foresters Scientific Conference at the KEFRI Kitui Regional Centre. The CS, Environment and Forestry, emphasized on the need for increased membership in the Kenya Forestry Society in order to strengthen professionalism as well as make loud their voice in influencing policy decisions on matters forestry.
He sighted that Environment is the bedrock to the government’s big four national agenda and as such, the pro environment and forestry scientists should endeavor to translate policies into actions.
