The Health ministry announced 497 new Covid-19 cases, the biggest daily rise so far, taking the nationwide tally to 10,791.
Speaking in Nairobi Tuesday during the daily briefing on the Covid-19 situation in Kenya, Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi also announced that five more people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in Kenya to 202.
At the same time, the number of recoveries rose to 3,017 after 71 more patients were discharged.
