Kilifi, Kwale and Tana River farmers get seeds worth Sh8m

At least 500,000 farmers in Kilifi, Kwale and Tana River counties received 80 tonnes of certified seeds for planting ahead of the onset of short rains.

Over the years, the three counties have experienced food insecurity due to prolonged drought and use of uncertified seeds, leading to low yields.
