Court rules NTSA closure of 300 driving schools illegal

The High Court has declared the closure of more than 300 driving schools last year for failure to meet traffic rules as illegal.

Justice James Makau said the closure of the 332 driving schools for failing to submit duly filled forms to the nearest National Transport and Licensing Authority (NTSA) offices within 14 days, was oppressive and unlawful.
