The Physical Planners Registration Board is holding its inaugural workshop today in Nairobi.
The Physical Planners Registration Act, Cap 536 regulates the physical planning practice as per the Physical Planning Act, Cap 286. Section 3 of the Physical Planners Registration Act, Cap 536 establishes the Physical Planners Registration Board which is mandated to;
1. Register all eligible persons to practice as Physical Planners in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
2. Set and conduct examinations for purposes of registration of Physical Planners.
3. Verify the qualifications and eligibility of the applicants seeking registration with the Board.
4. Inquire into the professional misconduct of a member and institute disciplinary proceedings against such member in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
