Kenya Re to build on Upper Hill land

Listed Kenya Reinsurance  is seeking expert advice on the planned development of its prime plot in Nairobi’s top commercial hub, Upper Hill.

In the planned development termed as “urgent”, the winning built-environment consultancy must have undertaken feasibility studies for best-use developments for commercial grade investments for works costing at least Sh100 million and completed in the last six years.

“The consultant (firm) will include qualified personnel in feasibility study development, comprehensive building designs concepts design, financial modelling/structuring, economic, financial and risk analysis.

“They should provide professional, technical and expert services as required above within the prescribed time of three months,” it said.

Among the prime properties Kenya Re include owns are Kenya Re Towers, adjacent to the European Union and opposite the Japanese Embassy, Anniversary Towers, Reinsurance Plaza, all in Nairobi and Reinsurance Plaza in Kisumu.
