Hotels in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve are operating at between 0 and 15 per cent bed occupancy for local tourists as the Covid-19 pandemic crushes tourism.

The number of international tourists has plummeted to almost zero as the effects the pandemic continue. This is in contrast to last year, when the hotels operated at above 80 per cent occupancy for local, and more than 30 per cent for international tourists…
