Work begins for Kenya’s new permanent rep to the UN in New York

Kenya’s new permanent representative to the UN in New York, Dr Martin Kimani, has officially begun working after presenting his credentials virtually to the global body’s secretariat.

Dr Kimani presented the credentials on Thursday, more than a month after President Uhuru Kenyatta nominated him.

The virtual presentation of credentials was necessitated by the latest UN Covid 19 protocols.
