Cold storage limits Kenya options as UK rolls out Covid-19 jab

Kenya is likely to go for a coronavirus vaccine developed by British-Swedish drugmaker AstraZeneca, as the firm’s antidote does not require complex cold storage like the ones manufactured by American pharmaceuticals.

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman said since the vaccine can be stored under standard refrigeration, it may work well for African countries.
