Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe admitted Tuesday that an entirely unique variant of the coronavirus, which could be circulating in the country, is the ministry’s new headache.
CS Kagwe noted, however, that the ministry is vigilant and has been studying the variant. He asked border counties, including Narok and Busia, to heighten surveillance to prevent a new wave of infections.
