Proprietors of Jack & Jill supermarket in Nairobi will wait longer before receiving Sh21.5 million they were awarded by a court for the illegal demolition of the iconic retail shop seven years ago.
High Court in Nairobi has allowed a request by the retailer’s former landlord Viktar Maina Ngunjiri to settle the compensation, which has increased to Sh30 million due to interest and legal costs, on monthly installments.
