The Kenya Nuclear Agency is on track to build a $5 billion nuclear power station by 2027 according to an article by Bloomberg published on the Engineering News website.
Kenya plans to increase its electricity generation capacity in order to support the growing manufacturing sector. The country expects demand for electricity to increase to 22000 megawatts by 2031 largely driven by industrial expansion.
