Kenyans ‘hoarding’ more than 20,000 oxygen cylinders

There’s an acute shortage of medical oxygen in hospitals across the country due to a surge in infections occasioned by the third wave of Covid-19.

Despite the dire situation, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe Monday lamented that some people were ‘hoarding’ 20,000 oxygen cylinders in private facilities, homes and institutions when they are desperately needed in public hospitals to save lives.
