The European Union and Denmark will disburse Sh5.1 billion to 2,400 youth and women in Machakos County to promote agribusiness ventures.
This follows the signing of an AgriBiz partnership between Machakos County Governnment and the two donor partners. The plan is expected to create 17,000 jobs through processing of products for sale in Kenya and abroad.
