The 2020 World Travel Awards (WTA) named Nairobi as the Continent’s leading Business Travel Destination, putting Kenya on the map as a top business destination. This position was contested by Accra, Cairo, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Lagos, and Pretoria.
The country was named Africa’s Leading Destination for its “tantalizing cocktail of epic savannah landscapes, immense herds of wildlife and palm-fringed beaches” ahead of 12 other countries, including South Africa, and Tanzania.
