The National Land Commission has signed a MoU with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) as a continuation of partnership on land matters. The MOU seeks to strengthen the function and mandate of the National Land Commission towards social justice, public participation and effective governance on land issues in Kenya.
The Memorandum of Cooperation is for the NLC and FES to jointly Implement Advisory Policy on Registration of Land Titles in Kenya. NLC Ag. Chair Abigael Mbagaya, Ag. CEO Prof David Kuria, NLC Directors and FES Country Director Henrik Maihack and Programme Manager Titus Kaloki were present for this.
The MoU was signed this past week on Wednesday, 17th October 2018.
