NMS kicks off staff audit to weed out ghost workers

Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has kicked off staff validation exercise aimed at getting rid of ghost workers and imposters.

The exercise, which is set to run for the next two weeks, will see the Major General Mohammed Badi-led agency verify the 6,852 employees seconded to it from City Hall.

An ad-hoc committee had been established to oversee the exercise.
