Insurance companies will settle claims for accidents that happen during curfew hours, negating an earlier advisory that driving during the curfew hours of between 8 PM and 4 AM could render one’s insurance invalid.
The Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI), the lobby for local insurance companies dismissed a statement made by an insurance agents’ lobby that warned motorists from driving past curfew hours as insurers would not settle claims for accidents that take place within these hours.
