The government has repossessed a three-quarter acre of grabbed public land at prime Section Nine estate in Thika, Kiambu County.
The land grabbers are reported to have used the back door to acquire the land documents including three title deeds two of which have since been cancelled while the other has been suspended.
Thika MP Patrick Wainaina who oversaw the process of recovering the prime plot said that the process of processing a new title bearing the Ministry of Education name is at advanced stages.
