The government has started a land ownership verification exercise in five group ranches that border the Maasai Mau Forest.
Narok South Deputy County Commissioner Felix Kisalu said the group ranches are the root cause of on and off ethnic clashes in the area.
They are Olombogisho with 607 hectares, Oloshusho (1155 hectares), Oloopangi (1117 hectares), Enekishomi (800 hectares) and Letian Leboo (600 hectares)…
