Yassin Juma free to return to Kenya, says Embassy

Kenyan journalist Yassin Juma who had been controversially detained in Ethiopia, is free to return home.

Mr Juma, who later contracted Covid-19, was on Thursday freed from an isolation centre after he completed 14 days mandatory confinement.

The Kenyan Embassy in Ethiopia said Juma, whose real name is Collins Juma Osemo, was “free to return home” after his release from police custody and from Woreda 7 Health Centre, where he was in isolation…
