Taxpayers saved Sh289.3 million on travel, training and hospitality perks for MPs in the three months to September in the wake of restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the Covid-19.
Controller of Budget (CoB) report shows that MPs spent Sh966.3 million on travel, training and per diem in the period under review down from Sh1.255 billion in a similar period last year.
